The final ever Merseyside derby at Goodison Park between Everton and Liverpool is set to take place on Wednesday evening.

The referee assigned to keep control of the final Merseyside derby at Godin Park is Michael Oliver. He will be assisted by Stuart Burt and James Mainwaring, whereas the fourth official is Tony Harrington. On VAR is Chris Kavanagh, with Eddie Smart the assistant VAR official.
Oliver, a well-known referee to both sides, has actually officiated Liverpool more than any other club and has given a total of 49 penalties in fixtures where Everton and Liverpool have been involved.
